Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., has recently announced the MSRP or the manufacturer’s suggested retail prices for eight of its vehicles which will be arriving in dealerships in late July and all through the month of August. The eight Toyota vehicles included:
• 2008 Avalon • The base MSRP ranges from $27,075 for the XL model to $34,425 for the Limited model. The total average MSRP for the Avalon is $201 or 0.6 percent.

As Formula BMW USA joins the Champ Car World Series for two consecutive race weekends, the San Jose Grand Prix will host the 9th and 10th rounds of the 2007 Formula BMW USA Championship on July 27 – 29. Seventeen young drivers entered the race with a 1.5-mile, 7-turn Redback Raceway. Reports say it will provide quite a contrast to the rolling 4.0-mile, 15-turn Road America circuit where Rounds 11 and 12 will be held on August 9 - 12.

12. Honda Moves Into Aviation with New Jet-engine Plant in N. Carolina

From automobiles and motorcycles, Honda Motor Co. is moving into aviation as it invests $27 million in a North Carolina plant to build engines for small business jets. Fumitaka Hasegawa, the chief executive officer of the unit said at a press briefing in July 17 that construction of the factory and a headquarters for Honda Aero Inc. will soon begin in Burlington, North Carolina. 14. It's Official; are we now a Bankrupt Society?

OK perhaps a slightly OTT title and introduction but the core message put out recently by the UK Governments Insolvency Service was that a record number of people in the Uk were made officially “insolvent” between July and September 2006.
The Government’s Insolvency Service claimed that 27,644 people were either made bankrupt or entered into an Individual Voluntary Arrangement (IVA) as a way to control or manage their debts in an ordered fashion.

U.S. authorities failed to meet Ambassador Leo Wanta's July 31 deadline to release $4.5 trillion into the economy, forcing Wanta and his AmeriTrust Groupe, Inc., to try and repatriate $27.5 trillion in offshore funds.
Michael C. Cottrell, treasurer of AmeriTrust, said Tuesday authorities were given "ample time" to make good on the agreed written settlement negotiated by two federal court judges, Wanta and two large law firms from New York and Georgia on behalf of U.S. authorities and overseas bankers.

British Formula One racing team WilliamsF1 announced last Thursday, July 27, that Toyota Motors will be the official engine supplier of WillilamsF1 for the next three consecutive years. In accordance with this, WilliamsF1 will end its one-year partnership with Cosworth, which is its current engine and transmission supplier. This will leave Cosworth without any supported racing team in the upcoming 2007 season. Toyota will also have to make their final decision on whether to abandon their own racing team to provide their full support for WilliamsF1, or to continue their F1 team.
